God Keep Our Land

The people who love God, Queen and Country and who are still living in Trudeaupia, don't have to 'adhere' to it formally. One can show one's loyalty by flying a Red Ensign, the true flag of the Dominion of Canada.
That ugly thing with the maple leaf on it is not the flag of Canada, it is the corporate logo of the Liberal Party of Canada. I would just like to remind Canadians that being ashamed of Canada, common as it is becoming, is not necessary. We are indeed still a great country. It is the Liberal Party of Canuckistan that has turned us into a fourth-rate international embarrassment. They are the ones who have simply annexed the whole country and decided, by their total control of nearly every public body above the 49th parallel, that the Liberal Party and Canada are synonymous. Well, don't give it to them!

Fly the Red Ensign with pride and especially, remember that our fathers and grandfathers did not give their all in the wars for the Liberal Party spectre that has overshadowed us. They knew that Canada was great and I know that we can be great again.

For the moment, and since we are a couple of days behind, I thought I would share with you some of the lyrics to the national anthem that you would be very unlikely to hear at any Liberal Party of Canada sponsored event.

O Canada!
Where pines and maples grow,
Great prairies spread
And lordly rivers flow,
How dear to us thy broad domain,
From East to Western Sea,
Thou land of hope, for all who toil!
Thou True North strong and free!
God keep our land
Glorious and free!
O Canada! We stand on guard for thee!
O Canada! We stand on guard for thee!

O Canada!
Beneath thy shining skies
May stalwart sons
And gentle maidens rise,
To keep thee steadfast through the years
From East to Western Sea,
Our own beloved native land!
Our True North strong and free!
God keep our land,
Glorious and free!
O Canada! We stand on guard for thee!
O Canada! We stand on guard for thee!

Ruler Supreme, who hearest
humble prayer,
Hold our Dominion in Thy loving care.
Help us to find, O God, in Thee
A lasting, rich reward,
As waiting for the Better Day
We ever stand on guard.
O Canada! We stand on guard for thee!
O Canada! We stand on guard for thee!

Note especially the beautiful last verse. So, happy Dominion Day to all and God save the Queen!

And how about this?

MAPLE LEAF FOREVER!

In Days of yore, from Britain's shore,
Wolfe, the dauntless hero came,
And planted firm Britannia's flag,
On Canada's fair domain.
Here may it wave, our boast, our pride,
And joined in love together,
The thistle, shamrock, rose entwined,
The Maple Leaf forever!

The Maple Leaf, our emblem dear,
The Maple Leaf forever!
God save our Queen, and Heaven bless,
The Maple Leaf forever!

At Queenston Heights and Lundy's Lane,
Our brave fathers, side by side,
For freedom, homes, and loved ones dear,
Firmly stood and nobly died;
And those dear rights which they maintained,
We swear to yield them never!
Our watchword evermore shall be,
The Maple Leaf forever!

The Maple Leaf, our emblem dear,
The Maple Leaf forever!
God save our Queen, and Heaven bless,
The Maple Leaf forever!

Our fair Dominion now extends
From Cape Race to Nootka Sound;
May peace forever be our lot,
And plenteous store abound:
And may those ties of love be ours
Which discord cannot sever,
And flourish green o'er freedom's home
The Maple Leaf forever!

The Maple Leaf, our emblem dear,
The Maple Leaf forever!
God save our Queen, and Heaven bless,
The Maple Leaf forever!

On merry England's far-famed land,
May kind Heaven sweetly smile;
God bless Old Scotland evermore,
And Ireland's Emer'ld Isle!
Then swell the song, both loud and long,
Till rocks and forest quiver,
God save our Queen, and Heaven bless
The Maple Leaf forever!

The Maple Leaf, our emblem dear,
The Maple Leaf forever!
God save our Queen, and Heaven bless,
The Maple Leaf forever!
